OhMyGosh!

Guess what! My mom was really sweet and agreed to help me (allot) in paying for a Wacom Tablet! I'm so happy, I ordered it this afternoon on the Wacom website. Its the Bamboo Pen & Touch Tablet that comes with [Adobe] Photoshop Elements and Nik Color Effects PRO, painter's software! I've been getting really good with my digital art and my mom knows I have fun and love it, so she chipped in BIG TIME. I wasn't even close to getting one and she was such a big help, so thank you mom!
Its going to take a while to come (say, 2-3 weeks) but being patient for my mom is the least I could do after what she did for me. :) Besides, sometimes the things that are waited for are the best in life! I'll be putting up digital art soon!
Anyway this is all I have to say, I just felt like I needed an update here. :) Bye guys!

Requests!

So, at school, my friend Hayley had asked me last week to draw one of her favorite actors (I forget his name.) But I did, and I brought it to school the next week to give it to her, and suddenly everyone requested something! Crazy! So now I have two requests to finish that I picked to do, in a week! Can I do it?? I hope I can, it wouldn't be fair that Hayley got hers done in the week and they don't. So, I'll try, wish me luck please! I'll definitely need it.
Now, I didn't say I liked the way Hayley's request turned out. I hated the way it did, actually. But she loved it, and so did half the class apparently! I don't get you people; At all! But, I'll post the drawing below and you be the judges, okie dokie? :)

2010 resolution...

I know I am late on posting a new years resolution, BUT better now then never, right? So, my resolutions are:

1: Be a better person
2: Draw more
3: Blog more
4: Spend more time with my friends
5: Be a better friend/daughter/anything else I am to someone except for enemy

Mmm hmm, I am happy with my list of resolutions. What are yours? I'd love to know them!

Christmas Sew: Lambchop

Today is the start of a tradition I am making, to sew something new on each holiday. For Christmas, I made Lambchop. I finished her in one day (today.) :)
She is made from a soft cottony fabric (body) and flannel for her face. She has a lace maroon ribbon tied around her next as a festive sort of thing, her everyday-ish ribbon is a woven cream-colored one.
Her face (mouth and eyes) and entire body is hand stitched by me, my mom helped with closing the hole I left un-sewn to stuff and she also helped with sewing on the face patch (the tan patch on her face) Other then that, it's all done by me. I'm so proud of it too!

Horrible quality picture time!

I'd love to show this to my kindergarden teacher, who always got mad at me because I could never get my stitches right. Well HA! look at me now! :D I'm sewing like a pro, dude!

A Lady In Black

I was with my trusty camera outside after it rained today, and found a little lady on my mom's fruit vine. Dressed in black, she agreed to let me take three - but only three and no more - photos of her, before she needed to leave.

  

I left for just a second to get new batteries for my camera, but coming back, she was gone, swept away by her own will, off to let the wind carve out her next journey. Maybe to another person like me, whom she would be glad or sad to spend her time with, it all depends.

Tyrannosaurus Rex.

I went outside today after  home-school and played with my puppy, Rex! We had a mini-photoshoot and played catch! It was very fun!
